The stewardship scheme
If you are a regular member of the church and you would like us to be able to count on your weekly contributions, you can sign up to join the stewardship scheme.
This just means that you would promise to pay a certain aount each week to the church, either in cash or by direct debit. There is no minimum so please only give what is the right amount for you.
The stewardship scheme allows us to plan our maintenance and activities, and it keeps the church thriving and able to support the community!
To become a steward please contact one of our church wardens.
Giftaid

If you are a UK taxpayer and make any financial contribution to the church, you can sign up to have it Giftaided to us (providing that you pay enough income tax to cover the Giftaid from all your donations in the current tax year).
If you do this, your donation will be worth an extra 25% for the church at no extra cost to yourself. The extra 25% will be paid by the Inland Revenue to our Parochial Church Council (PCC). The extra 25% is not taken from your person income tax payments to the government.
If you would like to giftaid your stewardship payments or a donation, please contact a church warden and they will provide a small form for you to fill in.
Easyfundraising
Easyfundraising is a website which connects you with online retailers and uses the commission raised from this to fund a charity of your choice. This means that you can generate funds for St Stephen’s without any cost to yourself!

Support your local and high street shops where you can! But if you find yourself shopping online, consider signing up to easyfundraising so that you can contribute donations while you shop without spending an extra penny.
